Our next event is on
Sunday 30th April
and will feature the musical talents of
The Rubber Wellies
Travelling Dublin folksters The Rubber Wellies (formerly Harry Bird and the Rubber Wellies) present their multi-lingual cabaret of joyful, sing-a-long anthems, intimate ballads and anarchic participatory fun. Pirates, lizards, cracks in the wall and Basque cyclists all inhabit the songscape. And a beard snood…. They are currently touring with their latest album “Bricks and Feathers”.
Support will be from local group
Ludlam Pikes play Anglo Celtic and Americana acoustic. Original songs are performed alongside traditional and contemporary material from both sides of the Atlantic, to give a powerful and engaging sound.
Tickets are selling out fast, so make sure you book soon to avoid disappointment.

WHAT IS FOLK AT THE FROIZE?
Folk at the Froize is a monthly event which takes place in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, close to the Heritage Coast in a place called Chillesford. David Grimwood, owner of the Froize, wants to bring together two of his passions in one evening: gorgeous music and fabulous food (all locally sourced of course).
We are hoping to support the UK music scene, both locally and nationally. We plan on bringing you artists that you may or may not have had the opportunity to hear before, that we think are simply wonderful. Don’t be fooled by the name … it’s not just about Folk music. ‘Folk’ covers such a broad spectrum of musical styles these days, and we plan on finding some real gems!
COMING UP AT FOLK AT THE FROIZE
SUNDAY 21ST MAY 2017
Worry Dolls are a tenacious female duo born out of the joint talents of Zoe Nicol and Rosie Jones, who met in Liverpool when they were 18, both on their chosen path of becoming solo singer songwriters, and both falling under the spell of ‘O Brother, Where Art Thou?’. Their great chemistry and love of harmony led to them starting a contemporary bluegrass band playing Nickel Creek, Alison Krauss & Gillian Welch songs, and they could now be described as an almost telepathically linked songwriting force.
Tickets cost £15.00 and are available over the phone. To book your tickets call David on 01394 450282.
You can also email email@example.com if you are unable to reach us by phone.
Your ticket price includes a feast of Suffolk Tapas made by Louise, David and their wonderful team at the Froize.
