WHAT IS FOLK AT THE FROIZE?
Folk at the Froize is a monthly event which takes place in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, close to the Heritage Coast in a place called Chillesford. David Grimwood, owner of the Froize, wants to bring together two of his passions in one evening: gorgeous music and fabulous food (all locally sourced of course).
We are hoping to support the UK music scene, both locally and nationally. We plan on bringing you artists that you may or may not have had the opportunity to hear before, that we think are simply wonderful. Don’t be fooled by the name … it’s not just about Folk music. ‘Folk’ covers such a broad spectrum of musical styles these days, and we plan on finding some real gems!
COMING UP AT FOLK AT THE FROIZE
Andreas Tophøj and Rune Barslund, are two leading Danish folk musicians of their generation, who perform with violin, accordion, viola and piano. This accomplished duo has its roots in Denmark’s peninsula Jutland, and are crossing borders to reach out into the world with their music this year. We are very excited that they'll be visiting us at the Froize on their debut UK tour.
