Our next event is on

Sunday 25th June

and will feature the musical talents of

Kitty MacFarlane

Kitty Macfarlane is a Somerset-based singer and songwriter.   Her lyrics combine honest snapshots of everyday humanity with the bigger questions that have connected minds and voices for centuries, driven by her own fingerpicked guitar. Her debut EP Tide & Time - features some Froize favourites: Sam Kelly (co-producer), Jamie Francis and Ciaran Algar, so we know it will be brilliant. Can't wait to introduce Kitty to the audience at Folk at the Froize.

Support will be from

Charlie Law

Suffolk singer-songwriter featuring energetic acoustic guitar, bass drum, harmonica & vocals.

Tickets are selling out fast, so make sure you book soon to avoid disappointment.

WHAT IS FOLK AT THE FROIZE?

Folk at the Froize is a monthly event which takes place in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, close to the Heritage Coast in a place called Chillesford. David Grimwood, owner of the Froize, wants to bring together two of his passions in one evening: gorgeous music and fabulous food (all locally sourced of course).

We are hoping to support the UK music scene, both locally and nationally. We plan on bringing you artists that you may or may not have had the opportunity to hear before, that we think are simply wonderful. Don’t be fooled by the name … it’s not just about Folk music. ‘Folk’ covers such a broad spectrum of musical styles these days, and we plan on finding some real gems!

COMING UP AT FOLK AT THE FROIZE

SUNDAY 30TH JULY 2017

From singer/songwriter Matthew Lowe (Keston Cobblers’ Club) and Daniel Rymer Trenholme (The Lost Cavalry) comes their new project Stables. The Alt-Folk duo put on a dynamic live show with emphasis on energy, both playing multiple instruments to create a full soundscape … if you close your eyes, you’ll almost think there’s a full band on the stage.
