Support will be from

Peter Hepworth

Instantly identifiable, this Woodbridge based songwriter creates songs that are a unique and colourful collection of daydream excursions, spontaneous adventures, reflections of river life, and the unsung encounters of an authentic troubadour existence.

WHAT IS FOLK AT THE FROIZE?

Folk at the Froize is a monthly event which takes place in the heart of the Suffolk countryside, close to the Heritage Coast in a place called Chillesford. David Grimwood, owner of the Froize, wants to bring together two of his passions in one evening: gorgeous music and fabulous food (all locally sourced of course).

We are hoping to support the UK music scene, both locally and nationally. We plan on bringing you artists that you may or may not have had the opportunity to hear before, that we think are simply wonderful. Don’t be fooled by the name … it’s not just about Folk music. ‘Folk’ covers such a broad spectrum of musical styles these days, and we plan on finding some real gems!

COMING UP AT FOLK AT THE FROIZE

SUNDAY 27TH AUGUST 2017

Tannara converge from across the country, to entangle within Scotland’s rich web of traditions. Raw energy coupled with a booming set of tunes, interspersed with moments of knot-in-stomach beauty. They were nominated for the “Up and Coming Artist of the Year” award at the 2016 Scots Trad Music Awards. Don’t forget your dancing shoes – if its a warm evening, we might just venture out into the garden.
